The Fiend Bray Wyatt pulled off double duties on last night’s TV taping of the WWE from Manchester, England. He made the first-time appearance on SmackDown TV as the Universal Champion to tease his first title feud. Also, the fans attending WWE Raw taping prior to that got to watch the new champion who decided to target multiple victims.
As reported by wrestlingINC.com, The Fiend went after The OCs, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, WWE United States Champion AJ Styles. He interfered in a promo session by them and laid out all three of them. Here’s more from the segment as noted by the source,
“The Fiend interrupted a post-RAW segment that saw The OC talk trash to the crowd. AJ commented on how there were no “hot moms” in the England crowd, and that’s when the music hit.
Fans popped big as The Fiend began his entrance and the red light came over the arena. Wyatt fought off all three members of The OC, then brought Styles down with the Mandible Claw.”
Apart from this segment, the demonic figure made another appearance on SmackDown TV taping. It looks like Daniel Bryan could be feuding with WWE Universal Champion “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, next.
Originally, the storyline between Bryan and Sami Zayn continued on last night’s WWE SmackDown episode. Zayn was pleading to the former leader of the YES movement to go forward in his career and join their heel team.
He also remained present during a matchup where Nakamura and Cesaro teamed up against Shorty G and Ali to keep a close eye on Zayn. Once Nakamura picked up the win, Zayn continued with the pledge to Daniel Bryan, backstage. It continued until the screen went dark and The Fiend appeared behind Bryan.
Sami Zayn ran out of the scene as The Fiend attacked Daniel Bryan from behind. He applied the Mandible Claw to choke out the former WWE Champion to end the segment.
It was the first tease on SmackDown that The Fiend perhaps found his next opponent in the form of the Planet’s Champion. We’ll have to wait and see whether WWE decides to continue this storyline, next week.
