In simple words, this week’s Smackdown match was excellent. We had multiple Championship matches, we had some exciting promos, good matches, and most importantly, the crowd was simply amazing. Of course there were some negative sides, but this week there are more positive sides than negatives. Let us go through everything in brief.

The night started with the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match which was pretty good. It was an excellent way to kick things off for the night. Ridge Holland lost a bout against Austin Theory and they teased a continuation of the feud between Sheamus and Theory after the match.

The Good, The Bad, And The Unforgettable Ups & Downs From Smackdown 30.06.2023

This is a bad side but not specifically of tonight but of the overall booking process. Theory and Sheamus looks a pretty weak feud on paper and we seriously hope they do not continue this feud until SummerSlam. There are other talented wrestlers, preferably the young ones, who deserve to work for the United States Championship rather than Sheamus.

The Women’s Championship segment was pretty well managed. This is exactly what we wanted to see. Bianca Belair attacked both Asuka and Charlotte Flair during their match making things a three way feud for the title. Hopefully these three women will battle in a triple threat match at SummerSlam and ultimately, Bianca would go on to feud with Charlotte Flair.

Smackdown This Week Ended With A Sneak Peek Of The Bloodline Civil War

The final segment of the night that promoted the Bloodline civil war was good as well. Indeed it was pretty much predictable, but it was fun to see that Roman Reigns’ own family is going against him everything single week. It was a good promotion overall. There are some other good sides of the show as well but we only picked the major ones.

There are of course some negative sides to tonight’s show as well. They have wasted a lot of time by showing useless things. They just keep on promoting the Bloodline civil war with the same footage every single week. It was completely unnecessary. Rather they should have booked a match featuring some of the lower mid cards or the jobbers.

They did not give much promotion to the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match either tonight. Shotzi vs. Bayley was the definitely not enough to promote the match. But it looked like they have a booked a number of things that were originally planned for last week’s Smackdown, like the match we mentioned between Bayley and Shotzi, and the triple threat match. Overall it was a very good show.
