Cody Rhodes is one of the top stars of WWE today who had been presented as the face of WWE ever since he returned to the promotion last year at WrestleMania 38. He had a series of victories over Seth Rollins, he also won the Royal Rumble match to challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 on the main event of the show.
Cody Rhodes’ brother Dustin Rhodes had also been an active star of WWE. He was extremely famous in the promotion under the ring name of Goldust. These two brothers also work as a tag team in WWE as well as rivals. In AEW, they represented one of the best matches in the history of the promotion. The match was also nominated as one of the best match of the year 2019.
The Induction Campaign: Cody Rhodes Pushes for Hall of Fame Recognition of This Star
The two brothers always maintained excellent chemistry between each other and it is really fun to see these two phenomenal athletes together. Cody recently expressed his love for his brother and he also shared his desire to induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame. During a recent interview with Fan Nation, he said;
“I want to do things my father never did,” says Rhodes. “I know it seems so bold, but that’s my attitude. That’s the way my father was, and that’s what he instilled in me. Getting 10,000 people for a non-WWE show at All In [in 2018]? Helping start a new company? That’s what my father taught me. That’s what is in me.”
Cody Rhodes Is Active In WWE Since Last Year
“I would like to induct Dustin into the Hall of Fame,” says Rhodes. “I would also never turn down an opportunity to team with him again, and we’ve had an even better experience wrestling against each other.” continued the winner of the men’s Royal Rumble match of 2023,
“It’s a very unique brotherhood,” says Rhodes. “Dustin’s an all-time great. I’m not saying he’s going anywhere, but he won’t be here forever. I hope people appreciate that he is still trying to go at the highest level and trying to pass his knowledge on, and I would jump at the chance to do one more thing with him. To induct him in the Hall of Fame, which is so well deserved on his part–and Arn Anderson. Arn is blood in his own way. I’d love to do more with Dustin and Arn.”
Goldust aka Dustin Rhodes is currently active on All Elite Wrestling and there are rumours that he would announce his retirement soon. We can expect him to get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame once his AEW contract gets expired. Cody inducting him into the WWE Hall of Fame would be really amazing.
