Professional wrestling legend “The Hitman” Bret Hart recently talked about his all time favourite match. Hart orchestrated some of the best matches in professional wrestling history and he is considered as one of the most technically gifted wrestlers of all time.
The match that Bret Hart considered as his all time favourite is from 1997 and he himself was involved in it. It was his classic Submission match from WrestleMania 13 against one of his biggest rivals Stone Cold Steve Austin. WrestleMania 13 was overall a pretty weak event but this was the match that completely saved it.

The match is famous for so many reasons. A lot of fans believe that the rise of Steve Austin started from King of the Ring 1996, and most of the fans still believe that WrestleMania 13 was the night that created Stone Cold Steve Austin. He started the match as a heel but by the end of the match, he was a fan favourite, and it was not scripted at all.
“The Hitman” Bret Hart recently looked back at this epic match and explained why he considered this iconic showdown as his all time favourite match. Speaking on “Johnny I Pro Show” the legendary professional wrestler explained;

“Probably my all-time favorite is gonna be Steve Austin [at] WrestleMania 13 because it was such a real piece of work,” said the former five times WWE World Champion, “It was just a real masterpiece. I don’t know if wrestling can get better than that. I really just love the whole memory of it.”
“I mean, I have so many matches,” Hart said. “To tell you what my favorites are is really hard, but the Austin one stands out the most. For me, I love to watch it back because it’s one of the most fun matches I ever had.” Concluded The Best There is, The Best There was, And The Best There ever will be.
Bret Hart wrestled in some other amazing matches too like the first ever Iron Man match against Shawn Michaels from WrestleMania XII where “The Boyhood Dream Finally Came True.” His match against The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith also received massive praise. But his WrestleMania 13 match will always be remembered as an all time classic.
