The former two times WWE Champion The Miz is signed with WWE for over 15 years. In this long period of time achieved a lot of success in the company including two WWE World Championship runs.
But being an inspirational or influential figure backstage in WWE is not very easy for anyone. The Undertaker was a wrestler whom everybody respected in the backstage. Such a charismatic figure but never be made in WWE.

The Miz Says He Is Finally Respected Backstage
The Miz was one of those overlooked wrestlers for quite a long time in WWE. In spite of being one of the most loyal wrestlers of WWE his backstage contributions were never that mentionable.
However recently the former two times WWE Champions revealed that he is finally receiving the respect he deserved in backstage. The Miz is considered to be one of the biggest Heels in WWE history. He is also one of the best talkers in WWE.
The A-Lister recently appeared on RNC Radio’s ‘The A Show’ as a guest where he revealed that he is finally receiving the treatment he deserves in backstage. He said;

“It’s kinda crazy actually. For the first time, I truly feel that I’m getting respect and it’s not just from the crew or executives or even the WWE Universe, it’s from our locker room, and when people come up to me and ask me advice, I was never that guy, ever in my entire career.
“No one came up to me and asked advice, and now people are coming to me and going, ‘Hey, how could I do this? What can I do better? How can I get to this next level? You went through this, that and the other thing. How do I get through this, that and the other thing to get to where I can be at that level?’

“And sometimes in WWE, things go in waves and you gotta ride the wave as long as you can. Not everybody is gonna be a John Cena where you can ride the wave on top for the rest of your career. Sometimes you gotta go down a little bit to literally showcase what you can do to bring it back up. I’ve been on this wave for a long time and now I feel like I’m at the level that I can finally ride a wave and I can keep riding it.”
