Dolph Ziggler is one of the longest serving wrestlers of WWE who is working in the promotion for nearly two decades. He has won almost all the possible championships in WWE in his long career with the promotion. He is definitely one of the biggest Legends that the company has ever produced.

But it is pretty unfortunate that such a talent has always been treated as a mid card and lower mid card. There were times when WWE attempted to push him as a main event star but for some reason, the pushes are always been cancelled. The first legit attempt was back in 2012 when he won the World Heavyweight Championship, and in 2014 he helped team John Cena to overcome the evil force of team authority.

The Undeniable Talent: This Wrestling Legend Explains Why Dolph Ziggler Is A True “Generational Talent” In WWE

And that was pretty much it for his main event push in WWE. A lot of fans still believe that it is still not very late to push him on to the main event level. WWE Hall of Fame Bubba Ray Dudley recently talked about Dolph Ziggler and explained his true potential. Speaking on the Busted Open Radio, the wrestling legend said;

“Dolph gets paid very, very well to do what he does. And most people be like, ‘He’s never on TV, Bubba. He doesn’t do anything. They job him out, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.’ He gets paid really, really well because the Dolph Zigglers of the world only come around once in a while.

“We talk about generational talents. Dolph Ziggler is a generational talent, a guy that can hang out at the bottom, and on any given night, if he wanted to, [he could] shoot right to the top of the ladder.”

“If [WWE] said, ‘Hey, man, so and so is hurt and we need a thoroughbred that can carry the load, we’re going to put the rocket on you so we can get this done in the next 3 to 4 weeks.’ Dolph is the guy,” Henry said.

Ziggler is still active in WWE and going pretty strong. Last year he went to the NXT and challenged Bron Breakker for the NXT World title. He won the NXT champion and became one of the fewest wrestlers to win both World Championship from NXT and WWE. This is actually a very big accomplishment.

After the introduction of the new World Heavyweight Championship a lot of fans are waiting to see him winning the new title. He was not treated as a main event star in nearly a decade but he is only 42 right now so it is not very late. He can definitely have a great main event run even at this stage.
