The 32nd annual Summerslam is almost upon us on this upcoming Sunday night. This is the biggest event of the summer that is likely to give birth to several instances which will go down in the history books as unforgettable moments. This year, WWE is bringing the event outside the USA territory as the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada will be hosting the show.

Updated Full Potential WWE Summerslam 2019 Match Card
Numerous championship matches are official to headline the show to make it a successful event. Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship is the potential main event of the night from Monday Night Raw roster. Also, Kofi Kingston vs Randy Orton will happen over the WWE Championship whereas AJ Styles vs Ricochet will also take place over the US Championship.
As mentioned earlier, there are still some voids on the Summerslam 2019 match card that WWE will fill up on this week. Monday Night Raw and Smackdown Live is presenting the go-home editions for the show and thereby announcing the last of matches that happens on August 11th. Unfortunately, though, WWE will have to discard a number of championship matches from the card, as per the latest updates.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter gave updates that WWE is not promoting three particular title matches for Summerslam. So it may be safe to say that these matches will not be happening on Sunday night. Currently, Intercontinental championship and both the Raw and Smackdown tag team titles aren’t listed for the PPV show.
Shinsuke Nakamura is the IC champion whereas Gallows-Anderson of the OC and Big E-Woods of The New Day is Raw and Smackdown tag team champions, respectively. Timing issue must be a reason why WWE may be keeping these matches off the Summerslam card. Fans often complain that WWE drags PPV shows to the longest extent making it impossible to sit throughout the show. So the creative team won’t keep any matches on the card with low buildups.
