A segment featuring the AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm will be there on the April 10 edition of Dynamite as she heads into the next title defense of her ongoing reign. As revealed during Friday’s ROH Supercard of Honor event, the champion will deliver a “Charleston Championship Champagne Toast” to Thunder Rosa, her current challenger.

As seen on the latest episode of Dynamite, Rosa defeated Mariah May in a number one contender’s match to book herself in a Women’s title bout against Toni Storm at the Dynasty pay-per-view set for Sunday, April 21.

With the latter sitting at commentary, Rosa countered a May Day from Mariah, hit a Backstabber, and then a Tijuana Bomb for the pin to win. Following her victory, Rosa challenged Toni Storm and attempted to get in her face before being held back by a referee. It was then on the screen that the graphic for AEW Dynasty 2024 appeared and confirmed that the match between the two was happening within a few weeks.

Toni Storm is a three-time champion in AEW

Toni Storm stands as a three-time champion in AEW who now has held the championship belt for over 137 days. She defeated Hikaru Shida at Full Gear to regain the gold for the third time in last year’s November.

As for Rosa, she is a former Women’s Champion who never lost her title in the ring via pinfall or submission but she instead vacated the belt due to injury in 2022. The former champion then returned to the ring in December after missing more than a year with that back injury.
