WWE SmackDown Superstar Sonya Deville shocked fans by attacking Alba Fyre during the latest episode of WWE NXT. As seen on the Tuesday night show, Fyre won her match against Toxic Attraction’s Jacey Jayne with Gigi Dolin standing at ringside. Fyre connected with a Superkick followed by The Gory Bomb finisher to secure the win.
Soon after the match was over, Fyre was attacked by Deville, who was hiding in the crowd. Deville was soon joined by Jacey Jayne and Gigi Dolin as the trio pounced on the former WWE NXT UK Women’s Champion. The segment ended with Fyre getting put through the announcer’s table with a triple powerbomb by the heel trio.

Later on the show, Sonya Deville appeared in a backstage segment, where she told McKenzie Mitchell that she and WWE NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose are still friends and she was there to seek redemption against Fyre who abducted Rose, last week.
Deville also wants to face Fyre next week on WWE NXT and the match has since been made, official for next week. It was noted by Deville that if Fyre shows up in the match to compete then she would be in no state to compete in the scheduled title match against Mandy Rose at Halloween Havoc 2022.

Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville have history since WWE NXT days
On the main roster, Rose and Deville teamed together under the name Fire and Desire taking their bond further from NXT days. In 2020, they had a bitter feud during the summer as the team went through a breakup.
Rose and Fyre have been feuding on WWE NXT for several weeks now. The feud escalated last week after Fyre abducted Rose when she was coming off a vehicle to enter the WWE PC. Fyre then announced during last night’s episode that Rose eventually agreed to a title match at Halloween Havoc on Saturday, October 22.
Mandy Rose has been the WWE NXT Women’s Champion since defeating Raquel Rodriquez last year at Halloween Havoc in a Trick or Street Fight match. In a lengthy title reign, she has defeated the likes of Zoey Stark, Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, and more to retain. She also unified her title with the NXT UK Women’s Championship at NXT Worlds Collide, last month by winning a Triple Threat over the former titleholder Meiko Satomura and Blair Davenport.
