Triple H is in an unusual break from the WWE for over a few months. WWE Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development had a cardiac event back during the first of September. The issue was reportedly very serious which is keeping him on the shelf with no mentioned return time.
Apart from all his corporate duties for the WWE mainstay products, Triple H also serves as the head of the NXT programming. WWE has made major changes to NXT since he suffered that cardiac event in the fall of 2021. He also underwent a procedure to take care of the problem and was seen on the site of the new WWE HQ which was an indication that his recovery was going well.
Triple H Not On Good Terms With WWE After Recent Corporate Departure?
In Triple H’s absence, the transformation of the black and gold has been observed. The NXT brand has become more colorful and youthful in the form of NXT 2.0 where Shawn Michaels stepped in and try to fill in the role of his best friend.
Legendary HBK is filling up for Triple H
Triple H worked tirelessly for the NXT brand to make it a popular show despite being it being the developmental show. Now that his health has forced him to stay in the house instead of attending WWE shows, HBK and the rest of the NXT team are taking care of things.
Shawn Michaels recently spoke to Denise Salcedo of Fightful. He talked about how it has been a big adjustment as The Game isn’t here to oversee things. He’s relaxing at home and enjoying this downtime, instead.
“But when it just happens out of the blue and you’re not expecting it; for him to go a hundred miles per hour to nothing was an adjustment. But I think he is, especially around this time of year, he’s now starting to realize like, ‘Hey, this isn’t too bad.’ I think he’s bordering enjoying himself now [laughs] to be perfectly honest it’s a well-deserved break for him, for sure,” HBK stated of Triple H.
Wrestlemania 38: Will Triple H Be Wrestling At The Biggest WWE Event?
Fans obviously love Triple H and they expect him to make a full recovery and get back to full-time work as soon as he can. For now, he’s enjoying a much-served hiatus. He will be back in due course to take back charges on NXT but probably the surgical procedure won’t allow him to perform inside the squared circle.
