Professional wrestling legend and the current WWE Head of Creative Triple H who is a former 14 times WWE World Champion recently talked about the decision of arranging the War Games at this year’s Survivor Series. He also talked about the gore in the previous WarGames matches.

The WarGames was a signature match of WCW. It is a 4 on 4 tag team match fought on two rings beside each other with two Steel cages with their heads covered. One member from each team starts the match, every five minutes a new member joins the match. After all the members enter, the first wrestler to gain a pinfall or a submission win over any opponent earns the victory for his/her side.

Triple H Discusses His Decision To Bring War Games In The Main Roster

WCW used to organised every year and it was one of the most famous matches of the promotion. After Triple H became the incharge of the NXT, you organised the WarGames match along with the NXT stars. But Vince McMahon never organised one of these kinds of matches. Fans always wanted to see a a WarGames match with the best of the WWE stars.

Finally after Triple H became the Head of Creative of WWE, he is granting the fans what they had been looking for for a very long time. WarGames matches are finally coming on to the main roster. It is now confirmed that there will be at least two WarGames matches at this years Survivor Series pay per view event.

Triple H who is a former 14 times WWE World Champion recently spoke to The Ringer where he talked about the decision of arranging the War Games at this year’s Survivor Series. He also talked about the gore in the previous WarGames matches. He said;

“The world has changed. The world has evolved. I don’t think it’s necessary. Adding that there is still blood in WWE, but there are medical officials to check on the talent if there’s an inadvertent cut. “If we have talent that gets [cut open], usually you’ll see them roll out and they’ll get looked at to make sure that there’s nothing dangerous.

“I’m just of the opinion right now, given the state of the world and the pandemic, and at the end of the day, what we do is dangerous enough without intentionally making it more dangerous. Yes, we did [feature bleeding] for a long period of time, but we’ve changed that practice. And it’s irresponsible to go back.

“Survivor Series has been an amazing event for 36 years. And it needs to evolve a little bit and this year seemed like the right time to do it,” he said. “We’re going to go to the TD Garden in Boston on the 26th, and it’s already about as close as you get [to] sold out without us [announcing the WarGames matches]. But you know, this is about serving our fans. I wanna give them everything they can have.”
