Trish Stratus is arguably the most popular most female WWE Superstar in the history of the company. Her accolades speak for themselves and she has competed in some of the most memorable matches in her career at a time when WWE has the least to offer for the women’s division. The idea of getting her back in the equation for some of the dream matches is literally mouth-watering for the WWE Universe.
WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus previously mentioned that she has unfinished business with Sasha Banks indicating that she is ready to compete in this dream match. This all started after the two had a moment during the Women’s Royal Rumble match back in 2018. No speculation for a potential matchup against another top name Becky Lynch has been spread, though.
WWE Smackdown: Trish Stratus On A Potential Dream Match With Sasha Banks
Trish Stratus is set to make an appearance in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the Coca-Cola Coliseum on Wednesday, December 29th to host a WWE Live Event.
Trish Stratus excited to meet Big Time Becks
While speaking to Renee Paquette & Miesha Tate on Throwing Down, the legendary wrestler sounded excited to meet Becky Lynch. She apparently wanted to have some mom-talk with the Raw Women’s Champion,
“It’s so exciting because live events are so fun. You just have fun, kind of riff, and it gives me a chance to mingle with the other talent that I haven’t mingled with. Perhaps, Becky Lynch would be interesting to chat with. (We’ll talk mom shop) behind the scenes and then in front of the scenes it might be a different conversation.” (quotes courtesy Fightful)
Apart from Trish Stratus, some of the top superstars from Raw have been announced for the house show such as Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, Riddle, Finn Balor, AJ Styles, Omos, and Damian Priest advertised to appear. Stratus will feature as the host of the show while on this same night, WWE will also hold a SmackDown house show in Baltimore, Maryland.
As noted above, female WWE talents were seen as mere eye candy before Trish Stratus and Lita set the bar high for them. These two were the first two female superstars to feature in the main event of Raw to set the benchmark for the new generation. The likes of Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, or Becky Lynch have achieved success, following the legend’s path.
