Kevin Owens is indeed one of the biggest Assets of WWE roster who is currently holding one half of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship along with his real life best friend Sami Zayn. He also starred on the main event of two back to back WrestleMania events which is definitely a huge achievement. He featured on the main events of night one for both WrestleMania events.
Last year he wrestled Stone Cold Steve Austin, this year he fought for the Tag Team titles. Both matches featured on the main event of night one of WrestleMania 38 and WrestleMania 39. Needless to say both matches were excellent and the Tag Team Championship match is being considered as one of the best matches of 2023 so far.

But at WrestleMania 35, he did not get any match, and he was pretty upset about it. Recently he revealed this story and he also revealed that he talked to Paul Heyman about not getting booked at WrestleMania 35. He revealed that hey man advised him to threat them to quit WWE over it. Speaking with Ariel Helwani for TNT Sports, he revealed;
“When I wasn’t on WrestleMania 35, a few weeks before, I didn’t not understand why. I understood plans had changed, I was completely fine with it. I was like, ‘What else am I going to do? I can do something else on the show.’ They’re like, ‘Nah. It doesn’t fit there, it doesn’t fit there. It doesn’t make sense.’ It was driving me insane.”

He continued, “I remember having a talk with Paul Heyman at a show [Raw or SmackDown] near Gorilla (position), and I was losing my mind. ‘Paul, I can’t believe I’m not on WrestleMania.’ He’s like, ‘I can’t believe it either.’ ‘What do I do?’ ‘Just walk in there and threaten to quit.’ ‘No, that’s not how I’m going to handle this.’
“‘If that’s how you feel.’ It was driving me crazy. I couldn’t go to WrestleMania 35. I flew to New York, I had some appearances, and I flew back home to watch it with my wife and kids because I didn’t want to be anywhere near it. I flew back the next morning for more appearances.” concluded the former WWE Universal Heavyweight champion.
All the big names in WWE and in the world of professional wrestling had to go through tough times. But they managed to surpass every difficulty to climb the top of the mountain of success. Kevin Owens is no different. There is no doubt that he is one of the top stars of WWE today and we can expect him to win more championships in the future.
