Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker who is also a former six times WWE World champion recently talked about the storyline of Sami Zayn and the Bloodline and explained why he is a fan of this storyline and what Sami is doing right now.
Sami Zayn as always remained an afterthought throughout his main roster WWE career. In spite of being one of the most talented wrestlers on the locker room, he has never been post as a main event star in the main roster of WWE. However, in the NXT, he was a main event star and he also held the NXT Championship one time during his NXT career.
The Undertaker Loves Sami Zayn And The Bloodline Storyline
The only title Sami held in his main roster career is the WWE Intercontinental championship and he held at three times. Recently he had been involved in a storyline with the Bloodline which is the biggest faction in WWE right now. He had been forcing to become a member of the Bloodline. Some people hated him in Bloodline, some loved him. And all these a love hate relationships had been extremely entertaining to watch.
There were different angles in this storyline and all of them included Sami. He had different angles with each and every member of the Bloodline, and all of them are pretty entertaining. But the best part of this story line is the love hate relationship between Sami and Jey. The WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champion hated Sami at first since he preferred only their family blood in the Bloodline.
But he could never take him out of the Bloodline because Roman Reigns always backed him. Even though after Survivor Series, where Sami helped Bloodline to gain victory inside the WarGames still cage, Jey also started to respect Sami, who preferred Bloodline over his best friend Kevin Owens. The storyline is definitely going to end sooner or later, but this will always remain as one of the best stories ever told in WWE history.
The Undertaker who is also a former six times WWE World champion recently spoke to Sports Illustrated where he talked about the storyline of Sami Zayn and the Bloodline and explained why he is a fan of this storyline and what Sami is doing right now. He said;
“Sami’s character is so intriguing in that whole mix. It is very clear who The Bloodline is and what they stand for, and they go out and do their deal. But adding Sami, that gives so many more layers. Plus, you have that tension between Sami, The Usos and Roman. It works so well.
“Sami is a vital part of the whole thing, and he’s never been a bigger star. But this is also important for The Bloodline. It gives them something new. Roman has been champion for over two years. That means he has to go out and beat everyone he faces, right? That’s tough. But it’s a new dynamic with Sami in there. How can you not enjoy this? It’s great storytelling.”
