Stone Cold Steve Austin is one of the biggest names in the history of professional wrestling who defined the famous Attitude Era of WWE. He was one of the biggest attractions of the promotion during his time and he was obviously the biggest reason behind the success of WWE over WCW during the famous Monday Night Wars.
However, in 2003 he was forced to retire from in ring action. His last match was against his biggest Rival The Rock at WrestleMania XIX. He had to retire from action at a very young age of 38 and it was really heartbreaking for the wrestling world. An old neck injury returned it completely killed his career.

But last year at WrestleMania 38 he finally made his return to action and it was a dream come true for the wrestling fans. G Fort one of the biggest names of WWE of the modern era, Kevin Owens and he had been pretty good in the ring even after 19 long years. The match was not scheduled previously but was booked instantly during the event.
Former WWE star and former WWE United States champion Mr. Kennedy recently remembered this match and expressed his happiness of Austin retarding to action after 19 long years. He also said that Austin is one of the biggest dream opponents of his career. Speaking with “UnSKripted” Kennedy revealed Austin as his dream opponent and he also revealed the other dream opponents he has in his mind;

“My absolute dream opponent of all time hands down would be Steve Austin,” Kennedy stated. “I was so happy when Kevin Owens got to do that a few years ago. What an awesome thing. That would be my dream opponent.”
“I definitely would love to wrestle Seth [Rollins], I have actually wrestled AJ [Styles] a lot when I was in Impact Wrestling, when I was with TNA,” he said. “I still say for my money, AJ Styles is the best wrestler in the world. He’s so versatile, he can work with anybody.”

A lot of fans expected to see Austin working on a regular basis after this return to action last year at WrestleMania 38. But so far it looks like it was his last wrestling match and there is no confirmation on if he has any plans of returning to action again. But watching Steve Austin on screen is always a treat.
