Clash at the Castle was a massive hit among the WWE Universe especially the fanbase residing in the United Kingdom. During the show, the event was trending number one in the country and the excitement was unlimited among them. Owing to the positive outcome, WWE is likely to host a bigger event in the overseas country in the near future.
There’ve been speculations about the United Kingdom possibly hosting WrestleMania for the past several years. After the success of Clash at the Castle, it appears that the biggest event of the year will indeed be going down from the country.
During a recent episode of WWE After The Bell podcast, Raw commentator Corey Graves also teased the news that the United Kingdom might actually get to host a WrestleMania in the future. Here’s what he had to offer,
“In the opinion of Corey Graves and many other people who were backstage, who were around the stadium in Cardiff, you guys have been clamoring for WrestleMania, I’d say you made a pretty strong case for yourselves to get one in the near future.”

United Kingdom Clash at the Castle PPV buys wasn’t good among US fans
While the majority of the fans in the United States watch WWE premium live events on Peacock or WWE Network, there are some fans who still like to order those on pay-per-views. The buys for Clash At The Castle were down because it took place in the middle of the day, that’s per the United Kingdom’s timezone instead of the usual nighttime.
Below are the US pay-per-view buys of WWE’s last 3 premium live events:
Money In The Bank: 9,200
SummerSlam: 18,600
Clash At The Castle: 8,000
Since the buys at the United Kingdom PPV WWE Clash at the Castle weren’t all that good, Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported on a contradictory note that people really shouldn’t get their hopes up for WrestleMania coming overseas, anytime soon. Here’s what the source reported,
“The estimate on U.S. PPV buys was 8,000, which doesn’t mean much since most viewers are streaming. However, it was down from 18,600 at the same point for SummerSlam and down from 9,200 for Money In The Bank. The SummerSlam number shows just how much the name value of the big three events carry.”
