Dominik Mysterio is one of the top stars of WWE today who is getting more and more popular day by day. His popularly is growing on somewhat of a negative way and today he is the most hated wrestler in WWE and maybe in the world of professional wrestling too. It is very difficult for any wrestler to gain such heat that Dominik earns every time he entered the ring or tries to talk over a mic.
He started his professional wrestling career as the Tag Team partner of his legendary father Rey Mysterio. Together they also won the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship and became the first ever father and son Tag Team champions in WWE history. Their team was getting extremely famous among the fans.

But last year at Clash at the Castle, Dominik Mysterio decided to betray his father. He turned heel and joined the evil force of the Judgement Day. He also started a feud with his own father. Their feud continued till WrestleMania 39 where Dominik was finally beaten by his father. In spite of this defeat, his big push did not end and he kept on doing what he had been doing since turning heel.
Recently he started visiting NXT and he defeated Wes Lee to win the NXT North American Championship. After winning this title, he started to get some respect as he had been defending this title regularly. He is working on all three brands of WWE including the NXT and his title is being treated as a lower mid card title on the main roster.

After he started visiting NXT regularly along with the Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, the ratings and viewership started to increase of the development Territory of WWE. So it is pretty much cleared that in spite of being a hated wrestler he is money for WWE. Overall he is doing an excellent job.
There are big rumours that WWE has big plans for Dominik Mysterio and we can definitely expect him to see winning more championships in the future. Recently he appeared on Up NXT where he revealed the dream match he wanted to have. Here is what the current WWE NXT North American champion had to say;
“My dream match would probably be a tag team match between me and my dad, Eddie Guerrero, against Ricky Steamboat and Ric Flair. In what kind of match? Tag Team Title match, and let’s just do Falls Count Anywhere. With Eddie and Steamboat and Flair, I shouldn’t even be a part of that match, to be honest with you, but it’s a dream match. It’s what I want, not what you guys want.” concluded the Judgement Day member.
