NXT’s Scarlett hasn’t yet made her main roster debut to date despite Karrion Kross’ inclusion to the main roster. It appears that WWE still has plans for her on the main roster in the coming weeks. Fans have been doubting whether WWE would split the partnership of the reigning NXT Champion and Scarlett which shouldn’t be the case.
Karrion Kross defeated Shelton Benjamin on WWE Main Event last month but then he lost to Jeff Hardy in his RAW debut, just a couple of days later. He then defeated Keith Lee on RAW July 26 episode. During all of these appearances, Scarlett was notably missing from his side. This was bound to fuel up speculations about the future of the former Smoke Show host from Impact Wrestling promotion.
Bray Wyatt Was In Great Shape Before WWE Release
Karrion Kross vs. Jeff Hardy rematch was scheduled for this week’s RAW, but it was nixed due to Hardy testing positive with COVID-19. Sources later revealed that WWE had plans for Hardy to pick up the win, again for the second week in a row which never took place. In fact, Kross’ debut with a few losses was intentionally planned so that he was forced to call his companion by his side.
WWE Fans In For Scarlett’s Raw Debut After Karrion Kross’ Loss
Scarlett would be an enforcer to Karrion Kross
Andrew Zarian on the Mat Men podcast provided an update stating that the plan has been for Karrion Kross to keep losing on RAW until Scarlett shows up. The potential plan was for her to appear on the show to bring her back on track. The storyline would play out in a way where Scarlett possesses what it takes to unleash the warrior or the gladiator within Kross.
To hint the same, Karrion Kross also delivered a post-RAW promo after the loss to Hardy where he promised that he and Hardy are not finished with each other. That could be a set-up for another loss and perhaps some more. But then WWE forced Lee to job to the NXT Champion. There is no update on when Hardy will be back in action after this COVID-19 diagnosis or whether the same plan is intact for Scarlett if Hardy is quickly back in action.
Meanwhile, she has also been absent for some of Karrion Kross’ recent NXT TV appearances those are unexpected. As seen on Twitter, Scarlett commented after the Lee vs. Kross matchup to tease her arrival on Raw in the near future with a short note,
“Patience is a virtue.”
At present, Kross is set to defend his NXT Title against Samoa Joe at WWE NXT TakeOver 36 event on Sunday, August 22, which is the day after SummerSlam.
Patience is a virtue.
