The Usos are perhaps the most veteran tag team present on WWE Smackdown let alone in the entire WWE roster. Being The Bloodline members on the show, they have been reigning tag champs who are also acting as the helping hands for the Universal Champion Roman Reigns. In the process, they have also accomplished a major record.
As of the bygone Royal Rumble 2022 week, The Uso Twins have reached a unique milestone as they set a new record as WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions. The record books show, that they are the “Longest reigning SmackDown Tag Team Champions in history.” This isn’t the first time that they have achieved the accolade because they had held the record before this, as well.

Usos’ ongoing reign with the tag team titles almost reached the 200th-day landmark whereas their previous set record lasted for a close 182 days. That being said, the Samoan family members have both the longest and second-longest reigns in history with the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships.
The current WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions have had a lengthy career with WWE starting from 2010. Since then, they have become seven-time Tag Team Champions and been named “Tag Team of the Year” by several wrestling media outlets like Rolling Stone, CBS Sports, and Pro Wrestling Illustrated.

The Usos are current WWE Smackdown tag team champions
It should be noted that the longest-reigning WWE Tag Team Championships are The New Day who spent 483 days with the titles. They won the traditional, unified Tag Team Championships but midway through their reign, WWE Raw and WWE Smackdown tag team championships were introduced as the tag titles became exclusive to each brand. New Day finished their reign with the Raw-brand titles.
The record book also shows that Gallus, Mark Coffey, and, Wolfgang are the longest-reigning tag team champions in the WWE history books. They have been recognized with the accolade after holding the NXT UK Tag Team Championships for 497 days although they could barely defend their titles during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Usos have successfully defended the WWE Smackdown tag team champions against The New Day in recent times but The Viking Raiders are the current number-one contenders for the reigning champs as they won a fatal-4-way match, a few weeks ago.
