Joining WWE

Rajput came into the world of professional wrestling in January 2018 as he got a big opportunity pretty early in his career when he signed a professional contract with WWE which is the biggest professional wrestling promotion of them all. In Ring Debut

Upon making his television debut in WWE he teamed up with his fellow Indian professional wrestler Saurav Gurjar and together they formed The Indus Sher tag team in the NXT. The Indus Sher made their television debut in March 2018 by attacking Matt Riddle who was one half of the NXT Tag Team champions. Malcolm Bivens worked as their manager at first.

The Indus Sher kept on working as a tag team in the NXT and their names were trimmed to Rinku and Saurav later. They received some big victories over some of the tag teams of the NXT like Ever-Rise and at the first WWE Superstar Spectacle event, they teamed up with Drew McIntyre to defeat the team of Jinder Mahal and The Bollywood Boyz.

Throughout his NXT career, Rajput worked as a tag team. They received some big victories as a team but they could never win the NXT Tag Team Championship. By mid 2021, Vince McMahon was pretty much confident that Rinku was ready for the main roster and he was brought into Monday Night RAW, with a new name; Veer.

Veer Mahaan

Soon, Vince McMahon decided to use Rajput as a singles star and he had been renamed as Veer Mahaan. After a long promotion through promo Packages on RAW, Rajput made his return to Monday Night RAW on RAW after WrestleMania 38. Vince McMahon was desperate to push him as a singles star as he received a very strong push on RAW.

Success in the Main Roster

Rajput worked under this new character for a number of months and it looked like he was going to receive a very strong mid card push in the following years. He even received a shocking victory over former three times WWE World Champion Rey Mysterio. Overall he was doing a very good job as a single wrestler on Monday Night RAW.

But after Triple H became in charge of the creative team of WWE and Vince McMahon left the creative team, the former 14 times World Champion gave up on pushing Rajput as a singles wrestler. Once again he was sent back to NXT which is the developmental territory of WWE and his Veer Mahaan character was scrapped as well.

Reforming Indus Sher, Recent Days

Once again he teamed up with Saurav Gurjar and this time he was playing the character of Sanga in the NXT. They reunited to form Indus Sher once again and this time they had been started to be managed by the former WWE world champion Jinder Mahal. After working in the NXT for a certain period of time, they were brought back to the main roster and they started working as a tag team. But much like a lot of stars right now, they are also struggling to receive regular booking in the main roster of WWE under Triple H.

Notable Feuds and Rivalries of Veer

Rajput mostly worked as a tag team wrestler in NXT and in the main roster of WWE. In the NXT he had been treated mostly as a tag team wrestler along with Sanga. He did not have many regular rivalries in his career but in the NXT he had an excellent tag team rivalry with The Creed Brothers. They had a series of matches with the Creed Brothers and this rivalry helped them to establish themselves as a concrete Tag Team of NXT.

Rajput had a short single run in the main roster of WWE and during this singles Run he mostly wrestled with some of the local jobbers. But he managed to have a rivalry with Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio during this short singles run.
