Veer Mahaan was the latest Indian entry to the WWE main roster around the spring of 2022 following Wrestlemania 38. Another superstar from the subcontinent is Sanga who is still residing on the NXT roster but he recently got some mainstream fame by featuring in the movie Brahmastra. The NXT 2.0 star was seen in one of the antagonist’s roles.
Now, it’s time for Sanga to focus on his WWE career and he will have Veer Mahaan backing him up on the main roster. This team, originally known as Indus Sher on NXT, has reunited and they’re likely on their way to the big league.

WWE wants Veer Mahaan and Sanga to be a force to be reckoned with
Dave Meltzer reported on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE plans to use Veer Mahaan and Sanga as a powerhouse tag team on the main roster. WWE previously tried to utilize AOP or The Bludgeon Brothers in some capacity but things didn’t materialize in a proper way.
“The idea is to have them as a main roster powerhouse team, a slot they haven’t had since they tried with Authors of Pain and that Luke Harper & Erick Rowan did for a brief period, but in both cases, injuries came at the wrong time, and Vince lost interest in them.”
The first time Veer Mahaan and Sanga started teaming together were in 2018 and when the two were managed by Malcolm Bivens, now known as Stokely Hathaway in AEW. However, they had to split up as Veer was called up to Raw to back up Jinder Mahal and Shanky. The trio didn’t last long, either despite regular appearances on Raw or Smackdown.
Veer Mahaan was then introduced as a singles superstar on Raw. After feuding with the Mysterios, he could be barely seen on television since Triple H took over WWE creative from Vince McMahon in July. Sanga was reintroduced in NXT as the bodyguard for Grayson Waller but that stint also came to end, shortly.
