Extreme Rules 2022 is the next premium live event to be produced by the WWE and it won’t have any top world title defense on the card. The WWE Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns was removed from the event poster for a long time while the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos aren’t present on the card.
It appeared that the top faction of the WWE, The Bloodline won’t be present at the Extreme Rules 2022 match but that may not be the scene, going by a recent report. A match involving Jimmy and Jey Uso is being considered, according to the latest updates from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Nothing, in particular, was revealed regarding that match.

“Extreme Rules will be 6/7 Matches. No Tag Team Title Defense or Intercontinental Title defense. WWE is still looking into a possible US Title match. But no plans at the moment for one.”

If The Usos’ match gets announced for the Extreme Rules 2022 then it’s likely to be the last and final addition to the card. The Bloodline members defeated The Brawling Brutes on WWE SmackDown during the September 23 episode to successfully defend their titles. They’ve defended their titles at a premium live event, WWE SummerSlam by defeating The Street Profits but then missed Clash at the Castle in September.
