WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey is someone who constantly reacts with the audience while making appearances on TV. She’s back in the championship picture starting with the latest edition of Smackdown. On the same night, she was involved in a hilarious reaction with a WWE fan. The video segment that took place outside the ring was shared by a fan on Twitter and it went viral.

As seen in the posted video by DJ Valentino Khan, Ronda Rousey was taking a breather on the outside of the ring during her match against Sonya Deville. Khan was at ringside and he advised Rousey to attack Deville by getting back to the ring. In response, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion stated that she was ‘waiting for the right time.’

Ronda Rousey earned a title match at Extreme Rules on Smackdown

Heading into this week’s Smackdown, WWE announced a massive lineup as one of the main event attractions of the night – Ronda Rousey vs. Lacey Evans vs. Natalya vs. Sonya Deville vs. Xia Li in a Fatal 5-Way Elimination Match to determine the new Number-One Contender for SmackDown Women’s Championship who gets a title match opportunity at Extreme Rules 2022.

Natalya was the first woman to be eliminated after tapping out to Ronda Rousey’s Armbar submission. Evans and Li were eliminated quickly, thanks to Rousey’s Armbar and Deville’s Head Lock Choke-Hold submission, respectively. The Baddest Woman on the Planet then hit Piper’s Pit followed by the Ankle Lock submission, to make Deville tap out for the win.

Following this, WWE confirmed Liv Morgan (c) vs. Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules 2022. Reacting to the announced matchup, the champion appeared in an interview following Smackdown. This is what she had to say,

“I was impressed and I actually love this for me because I think we are all so used to seeing Ronda Rousey quit after she loses twice. So I think we are all in for a treat and I’m looking forward to beating her flat on the mat [one, two three]. And if anyone doubts me at this point, watch me.”
