For the NXT fans and NXT UK fans Walter is a household name. He is the current WWE NXT UK champion and he has been carrying the title on his shoulder for a record 769 days and counting.

Walter has been a common name in the world of pro wrestling for almost 15 years. He has been wrestling on the independent circuit all over in Europe and the United States of America. He had a bag full of achievements in pro wrestling.

Walter Reveals His Three Dream Opponents

He made his WWE debut during the NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool in 2019. Pete Dunne and Joe Coffey had an unbelievable battle going on for 34 minutes and 15 seconds, Pete Dunne was finally able to retain WWE NXT UK Championship. After the match Walton made his debut and confronted the then WWE NXT UK champion Pete Dunne.

At the NXT Takeover: New York, he challenge the WWE NXT UK champion Pete Dunne for the WWE NXT UK Championship. They fought an amazing half an hour battle where Walter was finally able to capture the gold. Since when he could never be beaten for the NXT UK Championship.

Recently the current WWE NXT UK champion featured as a guest on the After the Bell podcast with host Corey Graves, where the Ring General named his three dream opponents. He said;

“When I first got into watching other wrestling, I was watching Ring of Honor. A lot of those guys are the top guys in WWE right now. Daniel Bryan is a match I would want to do. Obviously, Cesaro. Never work with (Cesaro). He’s a great role model for all of us German-speaking talent. He’s always been super supportive. As soon as we stepped foot in WWE, he reached his hand out to all of us. He’s a fantastic wrestler. Regarding NXT, the one match I wanted before COVID was Finn Balor. Those are the three.”

There is a big rumour that the Australian professional wrestler will leave NXT UK for NXT very soon. Walter would be an amazing fit for the main roster of WWE as well. He is an excellent package, who could definitely be an amazing upper mid card guy and he also has the capacity of being a great management star too.
