Sasha Banks is absent from WWE TV since before SummerSlam. Following the return in July, she heavily featured in the hype leading up to the event especially given the fact that WWE was about to host a Wrestlemania rematch at the August PPV. But then she missed a couple of house shows and then got ruled out of the Biggest Party of the Summer for some unknown reasons.
There’s no update available on when Sasha Banks will make her return to TV but she was backstage at SmackDown last week. Then WWE kept on advertising her for this week’s Super Smackdown at the Madison Square Garden Arena alongside the venue’s official website, even hours before the show. The question remains whether she was in attendance at the show.

According to Fightful Select, Sasha Banks was around Madison Square Garden, but she wasn’t listed on the rundown sheet. She may haven’t made an appearance week on Smackdown but she made it to NYC for the company’s big return to the world’s most famous arena.
“Banks was seen around in Madison Square Garden earlier today, but was not listed on early on-screen rundowns of the show. We’ll work to see if that is slated to change as the show gets closer. Not everything that unfolds on-screen are always listed in these internal rundowns,” the source noted on their update regarding the former Smackdown Women’s Champion.

That being said, the situation is very much tricky around Sasha Banks as we wait to see her grand return on the blue brand. There’s no confirmed update is available on the reason behind her absence from Smackdown TV, in the first place. WWE only mentioned this hiatus due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’ at Summerslam.

Now Becky Lynch is back on the rand as a heel champion and she will face Bianca Belair at Extreme Rules for the championship. So, it will be interesting to see in which dynamic The Boss comes back on TV after that heel-turn on Belair, back in July.
