LA Knight is indeed one of the most over stars of WWE at this moment. The way the fans react every time they hear his entrance music or they see him, tells the whole story. This is very rare to see some wrestlers getting so much over with the fans in modern day wrestling.
But last night’s Smackdown disappointed the fans since there was no televised appearance from the fan favourite. Instead they mostly focused on building up further plot for the Bloodline storyline. For more than half of the show, the focus remained on the Bloodline storyline and nothing else.

There were some other segments too like a women’s Championship segment which was pretty good. Iyo Sky made a Money in the Bank cash in an attempt but ultimately she could not cash in. Edge made his return to action tonight and he also had a match. There were two other matches too, one of them was a United States Championship defence.
To focus on the Bloodline storyline, they had to cut off a lot of things, including any kind of Tag Team Championship segment, and there was no involvement of LWO, nor of the big fan favourite LA Knight. It might have been a big disappointment for a lot of fans not to get to see their favourite star on SmackDown last night.
LA Knight Attacked Hit Row Last Night On Smackdown
But surprisingly, Knight actually made a cameo appearance on tonight’s SmackDown and he even went physical with a couple of wrestlers. The Hit Row was seen standing inside the ring, cutting a promo. Knight appeared and beat down both of them. The fans were extremely happy to see him, he even got a bigger pop than The Usos.
But unfortunately this segment did not take place on television. It was cut off. The real question is why. In spite of being so over with the fans, why did WWE decide to take his segment off of television? This has left a lot of fans confused on this strange decision made by WWE.
The segment was later uploaded on the YouTube channel of WWE, you can see the footage below. We have seen earlier that WWE has cancelled a lot of people’s pushes just because they were getting more over than expected. Is it going to be the same thing in the case of Knight?
