Randy Orton is one of the cornerstone figures of WWE programming in the modern era and he will continue to play the role for years to follow. His contribution to the company is immense in comparison to the new-age superstars. Since the top superstar has inked a renewed deal with the WWE, it’s certain that he will be performing for some more years.
Randy Orton has been one of the mainstays of the company for almost two decades. After the initial stumbling, he went on to solidify himself as one of the greatest Superstars in the company’s history. Thus, plenty of records is already in his arsenal while some more would definitely be waiting for him. Down the road, The Viper may end up becoming that superstar who would break the record of sixteen world title reigns set by Ric Flair.

Randy Orton would like to wrestle until 50
Randy Orton also revealed he would like to keep going into the ring until he reached the 50-year-old mark. That means he’s not stopping until another decade arrives. Check out his comments on this matter,
“I’m 41. By the time I’m 50, I think I’m done. But I’m not like, I’ll do auditions every once in a while, but I almost only do them because my wife says ‘oh do them, because what if you don’t? Then you’ll wonder what if you did.’ So I do auditions here and there, crossing my fingers that I don’t get a callback because I love what I do. I don’t want to stop. I don’t want to have to stop, because of my body.”
On a related note, Randy Orton was asked if he would ever like to wrestle in a part-time role similar to John Cena or The Undertaker or Brock Lesnar. However, the veteran isn’t interested in such a stint as he believes wrestling at least once a week, helps him to keep the good in-ring shape. He also emphasized that he’s not slowing down anytime soon,
“So I’ve taken it upon myself to make sure I’m doing everything I can on the daily that physically I’m able to continue. But if it was up to me, and I knew physically it wouldn’t be a problem, I’d say I’d wrestle until I’m 50 years old. And I would go out and have that last match when I’m 50 and be able to say I did it on my own terms. That’s 9 years from now. But I don’t see an end to my career any time soon. I’d like to continue to go.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
