WWE fans have been trying their best to find out who is Uncle Howdy for quite some time now but there is still little clarity over the same.
Ever since Bray Wyatt went off the television, we did not get to know anything about Uncle Howdy either. There was no mention of any of these individuals, and it had never been confirmed why he went off TV. There were reports that Bray Wyatt was injured and that was the reason behind his absence.
Bray Wyatt was scheduled to face a Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39. WWE even started to teach the match. But suddenly there was no mention of it and it was called off. Nobody ever understood why the match was canceled. There were report that an injury sidelined Bray Wyatt from action, however, there was no confirmation on it.
Who Is Uncle Howdy in WWE?
Uncle Howdy got away from the scene as soon as Bray Wyatt went off the TV. And that interesting disappearance from TV made the fans even more curious as the question ‘Who is Uncle Howdy’ became the talk of the town. Such was the curiosity that the fans wanted to know more about the person behind the mask than Bray Wyatt’s sudden disappearance from TV.

Unfortunately for the fans, the person behind the mask is yet to be identified. There are, however, speculations and several reports on ‘Who Is Uncle Howdy’.
Is Bo Dallas Uncle Howdy?
One of the most popular theories behind the real identity of Uncle Howdy was Bo Dallas, younger brother of Bray Wyatt. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson went as far as saying that he was sure about Dallas being the person behind the mask.
“Bo Dallas is backstage at tonight’s Monday Night Raw in Birmingham, Alabama. Given the Alexa Bliss announcement that she will explain her heel turn last week, one has to assume Uncle Howdy will make an appearance. This should confirm 100% that Dallas is playing the Uncle Howdy role,” Johnson reported.
There were others speculations on who uncle Howdy could possibly be. A lot of fans wanted to believe in a different kind of theories who found a resemblance of him with Ring of Honor star Vincent. But he is currently active in ROH so there is a fat chance of this possibility.
Other rumours suggested that the role of Howdy could be played by NXT star Joe Gacy who is playing a similar gimmick. Even WWE Hall of Famer Barry Windham was also rumoured to be playing this character who is the real life uncle of Bray Wyatt. But the most favorite fan theory still remained Bo Dallas.
Bray Wyatt’s WWE mask maker on ‘Who is Uncle Howdy?’:
Amid the confusion over who is Uncle Howdy, Bray Wyatt’s WWE mask maker Jason Baker has insisted that he has no idea about the person behind the mask. Speaking to metro.co.uk, Baker said: “No clue”
“I just got told, ‘Make this’, and I’m like, ‘Sure thing!’ Just Bray calls, ‘Hey man, I’m thinking this,” added Baker.
Speaking further, Baker heaped praise on Wyatt, saying that the WWE star’s expertise as an article makes things easier for him.
“The beautiful part too is that Bray’s a phenomenal artist, he’s an amazing artist, so he actually will do a lot of our concept art for us, so that kinda speeds up the whole process.
“He’s like, ‘I’m thinking this’, and it’s like, sure thing! We’ll go and sculpt it and work on it, and send him pictures back and say, ‘What do you think of this?’ ‘Perfect. Let’s do it!’,” he said.
“I don’t know who’s wearing what or what’s going on who. We just make it, and that’s half the fun!,” added Baker.
Bray Wyatt and Uncle Howdy are off TV for near about 2 months but the fans have not stopped discussing about the possible identities of Howdy. One can only wait as of now before Howdy makes a comeback to WWE or the company confirms the identity.
