Fans have been back in the WWE in the summer of 2021 but Brock Lesnar is yet to show on television. He hasn’t got over the hiatus that began all the way back in April of last year. This is the reason that the rumor mill will not stop from generating a lot of stories around her. Many fans are hoping to see him again soon although there’s no such positive update is available from any of the reliable sources.
While Brock Lesnar isn’t heading to the AEW promotion, WWE hasn’t even started any significant conversation with him, either. It was noted that WWE is holding off on negotiations with the former champion as they believe that this isn’t just the right time to bring him back yet. The thought is that the situation should be halted for some more months.
The smarter timing for the WWE would be to include Brock Lesnar in their WrestleMania plans for next year. That being said, they will have far more time to work out a new deal if needed.
“He also has not been in negotiations with WWE because of the idea it’s not smart timing for what is likely a Mania in 2022 through 2024 to make a deal now when the competition is likely to only raise his value and the money he could get when they want him and when he wants to come back for maximum interest.”
Brock Lesnar is not in WWE’s Summerslam plans
The Beast Incarnate was primarily rumored to make an appearance for the Summerslam PPV but with the mask mandates coming back in Nevada, there are uncertainties around the show. WWE is concerned that mass gatherings could be in effect in due course. If that is the case then opting for Brock Lesnar from the PPV plans has been effective.
Per several reports, AEW and Brock Lesnar are not in talks, and in fact, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter confirmed that he is not in talks with any other company including the UFC and Bellator. That means WWE isn’t in any hurry either to bring him back on board. He is a bonafide main-eventer and proper creative plans will be required to utilize him on TV in an effective way.
