At the Extreme Rules pay per view event, Liv Morgan defended the WWE SmackDown women’s Championship against the previous champion Ronda Rousey. This was an Extreme Rules match and before walking into this match, Morgan already had two pinfall victories over Ronda.

It was somehow unpredictable, it was anyone’s game were nobody was actually favourite. Morgan was the only wrestler in WWE to earn two victories over Ronda Rousey. WWE tried to present in as a legit Contender against the powerhouse Ronda.

Speculating Why Ronda Rousey Won The Smackdown Women’s Championship

But on the final day, it was not very difficult for Ronda to beat Morgan and capture the WWE SmackDown Women’s champion for the second time and to become a three times WWE Women’s champion. A lot of fans believe that the unpredictability is getting restored in WWE once again.

Since returning to WWE in January, Ronda has been booked British strongly as he won the Royal Rumble match and two Women’s championships already. This victory over Morgan cemented her as one of the top faces of the promotion right now. Surely she has a long way to go in WWE.

But was this victory just planned because WWE wanted to build her as one of the top faces of the promotion or there are some other reason? Morgan had been a very good champion and pretty much obvious that WWE will not give up on her push. Maybe they are planning something bigger for her.

Here is our take on this victory, as it is known to all that Charlotte Flair is coming back to WWE soon, and as soon as she makes a return to the promotion, she will continue her feed with Ronda Rousey, which remained unfinished. Everybody knew it would continue as soon as Flair makes her return.

Charlotte Flair has been the golden child of WWE from the very first day of joining the promotion. She is also considered one of the most overrated wrestlers in WWE history. There had been a lot of points where she had been given unnecessary pushes, life winning the Royal Rumble match of 2020 or getting added into the main event of WrestleMania 35.

So we believe Ronda Rousey won the Championship just so she could feud Charlotte Flair for the Championship. The feud between the duo could easily be a non title feud but WWE will not book any non title feud for Charlotte. Ronda won the championship just so she could drop it to Charlotte and she remains one of the most overrated stars in WWE history.
