Professional wrestling legend and former four times WWE European champion William Regal who is the winner of the King of the Ring tournament in 2008 recently talked about his time in WWE performance centre and explained that some of the talents in the WWE performance Centre really did not want to improve.
William Regal worked in WWE for white a long time before getting released recently from the promotion. After his release he joined AEW which is the biggest rival promotion of WWE right now. He is considered as one of the most underrated wrestlers in WWE history. He is also considered as one of the most under achieved wrestlers as well.
William Regal Reveals Some Of The Talents In WWE PC Did Not Want Improvement
From 2014 he had been working as the on screen General Manager of NXT. After the passing away of Dusty Rhodes, Regal started working as a trainer in the performance centre of WWE as well. A lot of WWE talents have confirmed that he was one of the best trainers in the performance centre of WWE.
He definitely knows the core of the performance centre of WWE. We can definitely say whatever he is saying in this case has to be true. This is the biggest reason why not everyone can become a main event star or at least a mid carder. Some of them has to stay on that jobber position, maybe they never had the actual hunger to become the big star.
William Regal who is the winner of the King of the Ring tournament in 2008 recently spoke to The Sessions podcast where he talked about his time in WWE performance centre and explained that some of the talents in the WWE performance Centre really did not want to improve. He said;
“The PC is, at the end of the day, people have all these nonsense ideas about what it is. It’s the biggest wrestling school in the world and it is an incredible wrestling school. The PC works if you put your time in.
“If you come in there, turn up and do your class once a day and you go home, it’s not going to work unless you are the one, the magic one, that can do everything. You have to put your time in.
“I know this personally, sometimes the talent that are getting paid, that aren’t doing well, perhaps they need to look themselves in the mirror and realize, instead of spending time on their phone, perhaps they should be in the ring trying to get better. Not one person comes to our ring.”
