The World Heavyweight Championship is considered to be one of the most prestigious belts in the history of the professional wrestling business. Primarily featuring in the World Championship Wrestling (WCW), this belt made its way to the WWE after Vince McMahon acquired the brand from Eric Bischoff in the late 90s.

Dubbed as the ‘Big Gold Belt’ many of the fans also believe that the World Heavyweight Championship is also considered one of the most beautiful belts of all time. Unfortunately, WWE retired the belt for almost seven years now and didn’t bring it back despite a large number of wrestling fans all over the planet wanting to see it on their television programming.
