Sheamus Defeated Riddle At WrestleMania 37 To Become New WWE United States Champion
The mid-card title match from Monday Night Raw between Riddle and Sheamus for WrestleMania 37 was also faced terrible backstory booking just like most of the matches of the event, especially from Monday Night Raw.

This is seriously quite shocking that they did not plan to book a good backstory for the WWE United States Championship at WrestleMania 37 when they had all the time in hand. Instead, they make Sheamus’s job to Drew McIntyre again and again.
After having a terrible run lately, Sheamus actually deserved a little push right now. On paper, this match looked quite good; one is a highflying young talent and the other one was a strong built former world champion. This could not go wrong right? But it never really seemed interesting because they never tried to make it interesting, that’s it. This year they mostly booked the matches just to fill the card.
The fourth match of the night between Riddle and Sheamus was mostly dominated by The Celtic Warrior as it was expected. Both athletes played their parts well. Sheamus was really great, must mention that. Overall, the match was fast and entertaining. Sheamus picked up the victory with a Brogue Kick. What a Brogue Kick it was!
The feud will surely continue for a while, but we hope both individuals get the right treatment if it does continue. We seriously no one faces burial. Now there is time to build it a little better, and we hope WWE Raw creative team will work on the backstory on it this time.
