Bianca Belair Defeated Sasha Banks To Become New WWE Smckdown Women’s Champion
WWE Smackdown creative team had all the times in hand to book this feud between Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair in a better way for WrestleMania 37, but they failed. This is something we do not expect from the blue side.
WrestleMania 37 Results – Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair
But it is always a little tricky to book a feud between two babyfaces. And at this stage, nine of these two athletes should turn heel. They have really done a nice job to get this far.
But there was enough time. Over two months should be enough to build a nice feud for any event. In the end, it remained a flat feud between the champion and the individual who won the Royal Rumble match.
What else was the reason to watch it? Two great performers fighting each other, okay nice. But there should have been more focus on this feud than just these flat reasons.
It was scheduled to be the main event of WrestleMania Night 1. By looking at the overall booking, it was not a worthy main event, but the match was actually pretty fun, and it was expected though. The best thing about the match and of the night has to be Bianca Belair’s reaction at the start of the match; Bianca was literally crying. Such emotional moments are actually WrestleMania moments for the fans.
Sasha Banks was booked more like a heel in this match, and Bianca was more of a stronger force. In a seventeen minutes booking, Bianca Belair was built way stronger than Sasha. In the end, Bianca pinned Sasha to pick up the victory. It was a good way to close night 1.
We expected to see a great match between the two, we also expected a nice booking time where both individuals can prove their worth. We hope the feud continues for a while longer. This can be fun now if booked well. Now, they can use all the time in hand to book it in a better way.
