Randy Orton Defeated The Fiend At WrestleMania 37
The Fiend vs. Randy Orton is not a new match that has been booked for WrestleMania 37, but honestly, this is the only time that this feud seemed a little interesting. And that is all because of the one simple fact; The Fiend we see today is Bray Wyatt, or anyone else.
WrestleMania 37 Results – The Fiend vs. Randy Orton
Nothing seemed interesting this feud at first, most of the fans were seriously hoping that the feud ends soon. But it took a drastic change from the Fastlane PPV event when rumors started to spread that the man under the Fiend’s outfit is not Bray Wyatt.
WWE took full advantage of the situation by not disclosing the character in reality. Even they did not introduce Fiend as the ‘Fiend’ Bray Wyatt for WrestleMania 37, something they always did previously. But for WrestleMania, the character was only The Fiend.
The Fiend vs. Randy Orton was the opening match of night 2. Alexa Bliss came out after Randy Orton’s entrance. A huge jack in the Box was seen outside the ring. Bliss turned the lever of the box and The FIend came out of the box. Fiend is back in his previous outfit, and not the burnt one. The entrance was impressive.
The Fiend was presented as nonvulnerable to almost any move. And he dominated the whole match. He was about to hit Orton with the Sister Abigail, and suddenly Alexa was seen in a scary look. Orton quickly capitalized with an RKO and pinned the Fiend.
Honestly, this could have been a better match. But of course, it is better than those Firefly Funhouse matches or pre-taped matches that WWE organized previously for Bray Wyatt’s feuds. The feud needs to end here before it becomes boring again. And Alexa Bliss should now focus on the women’s division now. Because it would be good for her and the fans as well.
