Ronda Rousey vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair with the title on the line is now official for WrestleMania 38. As reported by sources earlier to this week’s Smackdown, WWE already has this match planned and it was announced following a confrontation between the two superstars.
During the Royal Rumble go-home edition of WWE SmackDown on FOX, Sonya Deville told the SmackDown Women’s Champion that Ronda Rousey has chosen RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch to be her WrestleMania 38 opponent. Flair then said that “Mom vs. Mom” is the easy choice for Ronda, so she understands. She then proceeded to pick her own opponent and it’s going to be her bitter rival, Sasha Banks.

Ronda Rousey then removed her jacket but WWE Official Sonya stopped her from getting physical. Flair then tried to punch Ronda, but she ducked it. Sonya then tried to deliver a sneak attack on Rousey, but Rousey took her down with Piper’s Pit and then applied in the Armbar to send a message to Flair who was watching from the ramp. Afterward, the match was officially announced by WWE.
WWE WrestleMania 38 takes place on Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3 from the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Dallas, Texas. Following Smackdown, the updated card for the event goes as follows,

Meanwhile, Ronda Rousey is slated to make appearances on Smackdown throughout the Road to Wrestlemania 38.
