After a lot of speculations, the dream match between AJ Styles and WWE Hall of Famer Edge has become official for WrestleMania 38. This came after the headliner segment promoted for Raw where Edge was out to about to address his ‘Mania future.

The Rated-R Superstar came out to the ring in the main event segment after issuing an Open Challenge, last week. AJ came out to accept the challenge, much to the delight of the audience at home and the venue. Edge stated how he and AJ and all the fans have waited for this match for such a long time. But he wanted the bulldog version of AJ to be available for Wrestlemania 38 and not “tag team b—h” version we’ve seen in 2021.

That verbal jab led to a brawl between the two where Edge apparently took a heel-turn by low-blowing the Phenomenal One. After a brutal attack, Edge literally snapped and brought two steel chairs in the ring, to hit AJ with two Con-Chair-To chair signature moves. RAW went off the air with the heel Edge standing over AJ in the ring after which the Wrestlemania 38 confirmation came from WWE.
