Sasha Banks is back on WWE TV on the road to Wrestlemania 38 and she will feature prominently in a title match at the Show of Shows. As confirmed by the WWE, she and Naomi will be challenging for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Currently, the titles belong to Raw-brand superstars Carmella and Queen Zelina Vega.
As seen on this past week’s episode of SmackDown, Banks made her return to the ring with a singles win over Shotzi, while Naomi was sitting at the commentary table.
After the win, Naomi hit the ring and took the mic to announce that she and Banks will function as a team and will also be the next WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Initially, Banks looked at Naomi a bit surprised, but then it seemed like she was on the same page with Naomi, given Wrestlemania 38 is so close and at this point, she’s literally up to nothing.
Over on Raw, the tag champs acknowledged the potential challengers in a backstage segment and accepted it to make the title match, official.

They had three title defenses before Wrestlemania 38 at non-televised WWE house shows which also included a win over Banks and Toni Storm at a December 18 event.
