WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. new WWE Champion Brock Lesnar is confirmed to take place at Wrestlemania 38. Both these juggernauts won their respective bouts at Elimination Chamber 2022 in Saudi Arabia to make the Title vs. Title match, official.
As seen in the WWE premium live event Brock Lesnar defeated Austin Theory, AJ Styles, Riddle, Seth Rollins, and Bobby Lashley (c) to win the 2022 Men’s Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Championship in the main event slot to punch his ticket to Wrestlemania 38 as a champion rather than being a challenger.

– Rollins and Theory started the match while Riddle, Styles, and Lesnar (taking Lashley’s spot) were respective entrants. The elimination sequences go as follows,
– Lashley didn’t participate in the match as Seth Rollins powerbomb-ed Theory through Lashley’s pod. Adam Pearce and other WWE Officials took the All-Mighty, out of the Chamber structure as he was injured.
– No elimination occurred until Lesnar made his entry into the chamber. The Beast immediately hit Rollins with an F5 for the first pinfall of the match while Riddle and AJ suffered the same consequences.
– Theory tried to get rid of Lesnar by climbing on top of a Chamber pod but Lesnar easily chased him and hit an F5 off the roof of the pod to the Chamber floor! He scored the pinfall win over Theory in the Chamber match and confirmed his entry at Wrestlemania 38 as the WWE Champion.

WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns retained his title over WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg today at Elimination Chamber. Hence, WWE started advertising Lesnar vs. Reigns as a Champion vs. Champion match and a Title vs. Title match. Afterward, it was confirmed to be a Winner Takes All match where the winner will walk out of Wrestlemania 38 with both the WWE and Universal Championships.
