This was another big match for WrestleMania 39 and it was one of those rare Hell in a Cell matches that got booked for the grandest stage of them all. WWE Hall of Famer Edge once again proof tonight that even at the age of 49 he could deliver 5 star matches.
But there was a big issue, WWE never built Finn Balor as a worthy opponent for something like hell in a cell match at a stage like WrestleMania. He had been having the feud with Edge for quite a long time but apart from his feud with Edge, he was nothing but a mid card, and such matches are only for main event stars.

WrestleMania 39 – Hell in a Cell Match – Edge Vs. Finn Balor
Edge on the other hand definitely maintained his main event status. And Balor could never looked strong enough to battle Someone Like The rated or superstar inside Hell in a Cell at the grandest stage of them all. This is the biggest reason why this match could never get enough hype.
One can argue that Edge is not going to fight the normal version of Finn Balor, he is going to fight the Demon and this is the first time Finn brought his demon persona back since 2021. Still, the hype was really low. One thing we expected was an excellent match between the duo, and needless to say, Balor really needed this win.

From the very first minute, it had a very fast paced and physical match. There were so many weapons involved in this match. Kendo Stick was the most common weapon in this match. Kudos to the WWE Hall of Famer for doing such a physical match at this stage of his career.

At a point, Finn Balor attempted to hit a Coup De Grace from the middle of the cell and put Edge through a table, but Edge ducked it. And after this spot, it was all Edge. The Demon was totally out. Edge pinned Balor after back to back chair shots.
