Match 6 – Hell in a Cell match – Edge defeated “The Demon” Finn Balor
This might have been one of the most least hyped Hell in a Cell matches in WrestleMania history. Still we are not calling it the least hyped since there are matches like the Undertaker vs Big Boss man from WrestleMania XV. But it is known to all that a Hell in a Cell matches are structured to end the biggest feuds of the promotion.

WWE WrestleMania 39 Night 2 Results & Ratings Part 3
So did they really bring the cell at WrestleMania 39 to conclude one of they are biggest feuds? Of course not. When you are booking Hell in a Cell match at a stage like WrestleMania you are supposed to lock two of your best athletes. Edge is a Hall of Famer, an 11 times World champion, no question on him.
The question was on Finn Balor, whom WWE booked terribly. He is nothing but a core mid card and he never looked like a worthy opponent against Edge inside Hell in a Cell. When you have something big planned for your biggest event which is WrestleMania 39, you have to book it properly. And they never cared to do it.
Now let us talk about the match. It was never as good as the potential it had. The question is not about the match, it is about the bottom line. Why did Edge win the match? Did he really need this win? What else does he need to achieve more? He is an 11 times world champion, a Hall of Famer, he also made it clear that he did not want any more World Championship reigns.

And still he is burying talents after talents. He defeated the biggest names of the promotion Since his return like Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, and now Finn Balor. All these wrestlers could be provided excellent lifts by the Rated R Superstars. But even at the age of 49, he wants to win all of his matches. If he keeps on burying talents like this, people will soon lose respect for him.
Match 7 – WWE Undisputed Universal Heavyweight Championship – Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes
So here it is, the main event of the biggest show of the year, WrestleMania 39, one of the most anticipated matches of the event. The match that all were waiting for to see if finally Roman Reigns gets dethroned. But did he actually get dethroned? Well, not really.
This was the longest match of the night with nearly 35 minutes of booking. This was also Roman Reigns’ best world title defence in WrestleMania history. But it is still not worthy enough to be addressed as the best match of the event. For us it is still the Tag Team Championship match from last night.
The match had a slow start, a very slow start to be more precise. But with time it picked up pace. Solo Sikoa accompanied Roman who kept on assisting him throughout the match and the referee banned him from the ring during the match. But it never look like that it was going to be a very fair match.

And it was not, The Usos got involved at the end, but they were taken out by the new tag team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. When it was finally looking like Cody is going to take the long awaited win, Solo Sikoa appeared again in a hoody and hit a Samoan Spike. Roman then pinned Cody with a Spear.
It might have been extremely disappointing for most of the fans but we could see it coming from a long time. Cody never got enough time to get the proper booking who could dethrone someone like Roman Reigns. And this is what happens in every Roman Reigns feud, his opponent does all the promotions for the match, and Roman gets all the spotlights at the end.
Now what if Roman Reigns goes out with the title? He is rumourd to take time off from WWE? And now he is not dropping the Championship either. Really they wants to give him a thousand day reign. So he is going to get his next 2 months reign just by sitting in his sweet home? Only time will tell.
Overall, the night 2 of WrestleMania 39 was an average event. There is no doubt that night 1 was better. It provided two world class matches. Night 2 also provided to good matches but they are nothing compared to the SmackDown Women’s championship match and the Tag Team Championship match.
The Intercontinental championship match had a lot of potential and it had the potential to be the best match of the event. It was of course a very good match, but nowhere near to the standards of what these three athletes could do in the ring. In spite of being one of the best matches of the show, it is pretty much disappointing.

The Shane McMahon situation will go down as one of the most embarrassing moments in WWE history. Once again we would like to thanks Snoop Dogg for saving WWE. The Miz who also did an excellent job throughout the segment deserves at least one reward for what he did tonight. Maybe one last run as the Intercontinental Champion?
One thing we must talk about here is, how they had to kill time after the Hell in a Cell match and before the main event of the night. They had or at least half an hour in their hand in which they had no clue what to do. Can you believe they showed the entrance of Seth Rollins from last night just so they could feel time? A surprise match could easily fit in that void. Absolutely clueless booking we must say.
And about the main event of WrestleMania 39 night 2, it might have been disappointing, but we could all see it coming. Roman Reigns would not end his epic world title reign to someone who was a mid card in there biggest rival promotion. But the question is, who would be the one to finally dethrone the one? Is it going to be Jey Uso? Or someone else? The only thing we can do his wait, watch, and see. We give the Night Two of WrestleMania 39 a total score of 2 out of 5, and we reward the whole show of WrestleMania 39 with a 2.5 out of 5.
