Wrestlemania 39 season will soon begin with the Royal Rumble premium live event in January of 2023. A multitude of WWE Legends is expected to be a part of the show and Stone Cold Steve Austin is one of the rumored names to be a part of the show.
The former six-time WWE Champion shocked the pro wrestling world when he came out of retirement to face Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38. On that night, he main-evented the Show of Shows after 19 long years to set a record. The crowd from his hometown of Texas was elated to see him back in action and there could be a repeat performance reserved for him at Wrestlemania 39.

Previous reports have already claimed that there have been speculations about WWE possibly arranging another returning capacity for Austin at Wrestlemania 39. In an update to the situation, Sean Sapp reports via Fightful Select that WWE has been in contact with Steve Austin about another match.

WWE possibly has ideas for Stone Cold at Wrestlemania 39
While it wasn’t specified whether the upcoming match is scheduled to go down at WrestleMania 39 or Saudi Arabia, the offer from WWE’s new regime has been made and now the decision has to be made on the legend’s part,
“We’re told WWE at least wants him to do more with the company. Specifically, we’re told that while the Vince McMahon regime had hoped to have Austin come back to do another match, that the Triple H regime had actually made an offer for Austin to do another match.”
Stone Cold in good shape ahead of rumored return
Austin recently shared a workout video of himself on his Instagram story, where he’s looking in a ripped muscular shape. This has begun speculation that he’s training for another match, possibly at Wrestlemania 39. We’ll have to wait for a couple of months more to get confirmation on whether these speculations are true or not.
Earlier this year, in the main event of Wrestlemania 38 Night One, Austin defeated Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred match. Then on Night Two, he laid out Vince McMahon, Austin Theory, and Pat McAfee with Stunners and threw a Beer Bath celebration in the ring. According to WrestleVotes, Austin was very happy with how things went down and he would definitely listen to ideas from WWE around Wrestlemania 39.
