Roman Reigns and The Usos were standing tall after the main event of Wrestlemania Backlash 2022. The three champions from Smackdown fended off the united force brought together by team RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle) and Drew McIntyre.
In a six-man tag team match in a non-title capacity, Roman Reigns and The Usos joined forces to take on the Raw Tag Team Champions and Drew McIntyre in the main event of Wrestlemania Backlash 2022. By the end, it was the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion who would go on to score the pinfall win over Riddle for The Bloodline after connecting with his pendant Spear.

WWE’s Tribal Chief spent a lot of time, trying not to get involved in the mix but eventually, he did end up taking out all of his opponents after receiving the tag. The Bloodline leader was unleashed at Wrestlemania Backlash 2022 as he sent McIntyre through the announce table with a Rock Bottom. It was followed up with a Superman Punch to Randy Orton before putting away Riddle with the spear. Being the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, his dominance was showcased for all the rightful reasons.

Wrestlemania Backlash 2022 win continues The Bloodline’s recent dominance over both Raw and Smackdown. Despite WWE originally building a tag team title unification match for the latest premium live event, none of the titles were on the line in this match. The stipulation was taken away as WWE altered the lineup a week before the show. Hence, the loss of RK-Bro doesn’t take away the champions’ tag from them.
Speculations had that Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair ‘I Quit’ match for the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship was to serve as the main event of Wrestlemania Backlash 2022 since this was the only title match on the card. But WWE wanted to keep things in the safe hands of Roman Reigns.
Elsewhere on Wrestlemania Backlash 2022, Ronda Rousey became the new SmackDown Women’s Champion while Cody Rhodes also picked up another victory against Seth Rollins. WWE Hall of Famer Edge also secured another win over AJ Styles as he welcomes Rhea Ripley to his Judgment Day stable.
