This was one of the most anticipated matches of Backlash 2023. Not all the fans were waiting for it but this definitely was a match that the home crowd was waiting for. Bad Bunny is the Puerto Rican sensation who is in action for the first time in his own country. This could not go any better than this.

Previously, it was announced that Bad Bunny would be the host of WWE Backlash 2023 pay per view event, but the plans were dropped later and it was never confirmed why the plans were dropped. He only got to focus on his big match against the former WWE United Stated Champion.

WWE Backlash 2023 – Street Fight – Damian Priest Vs. Bad Bunny

About the match it was extremely entertaining. It would somehow remind you of the famous Samy Zayn versus Johnny Knoxville match from WrestleMania 38. If you are a celebrity and you have some abilities to wrestle in ring, WWE would give you some weapons and the other person would carry you.

But Bunny did not have to be carried totally by Damian Priest. He is pretty good, in fact he is better than some of the regular professional wrestlers. We would not name anyone here. The match was a true Street Fight. It was extremely hardcore, and it had been really entertaining throughout.

The ending part of the match was even more exciting. The rest of the Judgement Day interfered to attack Bad Bunny, and this is where the fun part started. Rey Mysterio came out first to help Bunny, but when he failed to fight two people at the same time, Caribbean wrestling legend Carlito made his return and attacked The Judgment Day.

Carlito even did his famous apple spit on the face of Dominik Mysterio. As the Judgment Day attempted to escape, Puerto Rican professional wrestling legend Savio Vega came out with the rest of the LWO. They took out Judgment Day out of the arena, the crowd went absolutely wild during this part of the match.

The overall match was booked for 25 minutes, and Bad Bunny managed to pin Priest at the end with the Canadian Destroyer. We believe this was the most entertaining match of the night. We would not say this was the best match in terms of professional wrestling, but it was extremely entertaining.
