WWE Clash Of Champions Full Results: September 15, 2019 1

Last night marked the only one of the year where each of the championships in the WWE hangs in the balance. It was Clash of Champions pay-per-view with the main event where the two opponents also defended tag team titles in a separate match. Roman Reigns competed in a No-DQ affair whereas the Four-Horsewomen collided in women’s championship battles. Check out the results from the show hosted by the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

WWE United States Title Match
Cedric Alexander vs. AJ Styles (c)

The match took place on the kick-off show witnessed Cedric catching AJ with a big Michinoku Driver. AJ went outside as Cedric tried to hit a top rope move. AJ nailed Cedric with a Styles Clash. Cedric came back with a back elbow but AJ countered with a reverse DDT. He followed up with a big Phenomenal Forearm to pick up the win.

RAW Tag Team Titles Match
Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode vs. Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins (c)

The main pay-per-view of Clash of Champions started with Roode and Ziggler trying to capitalize by double-teaming the Strowman who overpowered them with a splash. Rollins made the tag and rolled with his pendant moves including the Blockbuster. Ziggler countered with the Sleeper Hold but somehow Rollins made the tag. Strowman rolled for a sometimes before hitting the ring post, hard. Rollins got the tag only to eat a Spinebuster. Strowman accidentally put out Rollins with a shoulder block allowing Roode to hit the Glorious DDT to get the pinfall win and become new Raw tag team champions.

SmackDown Women’s Title Match
Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley (c)

Charlotte Flair was out first to a big hometown pop whereas the reaction was opposite for Bayley. Flair started the match with big chops but Bayley pulled her hair to convert into a slam. Flair came back with a slam. Flair tried to focus on Bayley’s legs when the referee tried to separate her. Bayley exposed the turnbuckle and hit Flair hard on it to pick up the pinfall win and retain her title.

SmackDown Tag Team Titles Match
The Revival vs. Big E and Xavier Woods (c)

The New Day received a big pop from the crowd and controlled the match in the earlier part. Dash and Dawson double-teamed on Big E to take control of the match. E hit a belly-to-belly suplex to make the tag to Woods who delivered an Honor Roll. But Revival put both E and Woods with Shatter Machines and locked in a Submission Hold on the injured knee of Woods to get the win. They became new SmackDown tag team champions at Clash Of Champions.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles Match
Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose vs. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross (c)

Alexa Bliss began the match with a snap suplex for a close two-count. She took control of the match as WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth and Carmella ran out with superstars chasing them around. Bliss eventually tried to pin Truth allowing Rose and Deville to dominate her for the later part. Bliss made the tag to Cross who connected with a crossbody. Rose missed a knee as Cross planted her with the top rope neckbreaker to retain the women’s tag team championships at Clash Of Champions.

WWE Intercontinental Title Match
The Miz vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (c)

Sami Zayn cut a promo on the Undertaker putting him down with a Chokeslam on SmackDown before Nakamura and Miz started the match. The latter one dropped the champion with a big boot. Zayn distracted Miz allowing Nakamura to take control of the match. Miz came back with some YES kicks and a big DDT. He hit the Skull Crushing Finale but Zayn did not allow the referee to count the pinfall. Miz focused on Sami as Nakamura kicked the Miz and hit the Kinshasa for the victory at Clash Of Champions.

RAW Women’s Title Match
Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch (c)

The match started with Becky Lynch going for an early Dis-Arm-Her but Banks rolled out of the way. She came back unloading at Lynch who missed a top-rope move. Banks connected with the Meteora for a near fall. Lynch had the Dis-Arm-Her submission move which Banks countered with a double knee followed by the Banks Statement. Lynch broke the hold as a frustrated Banks started using the chair in the match that led to a disqualification.

WWE Title Match
Randy Orton vs. Kofi Kingston (c)

Orton started this Clash of Champions match by dropping Kofi into the announcers’ table. Kingston came back with a drop-kick. Orton set up for the ring-draped DDT but Kofi countered with an SOS. Orton nailed him with an RKO outta nowhere. Kofi put his feet on the ropes to save the match. Kofi ducked a Punt attempt and hit the Trouble in Paradise to retain the WWE Championship.

Roman Reigns vs. Erick Rowan-No Disqualification Match

The back and forth encounter at Clash of Champions witnessed the two behemoths using ring steps and even the LED boards as weapons to continue the brawl. Reigns used a production camera to take out Rowan and nailed him with a Superman Punch. Suddenly, Harper arrived on the scene and attacked Reigns with a big boot. The Bludgeon Brothers reunited as Rowan planted Reigns with an Iron Claw slam for the win.

WWE Universal Title Match
Braun Strowman vs. Seth Rollins (c)

Braun Strowman was suffering from a knee injury during the match as Seth Rollins put him down with two Stomps. Strowman still managed to kick out of those. Strowman tried for a Powerslam but his knees gave up as Rollins hit him with a Pedigree followed by another Stomp to get the win. The lights went out as we see The Fiend Bray Wyatt in the ring. He planted Rollins with a Sister Abigail followed by the Mandible Claw to send Clash of Champions off the air.
