Here is the second WWE prime Saudi Arabian pay per view event of 2022, Crown Jewel. It came out with an action packed match card with a not so impressive main event. Would it be able to stand up to the expectations? Will be main event of the night can deliver more than its expectations? Let us find out.
Match 1 – Brock Lesnar defeated Bobby Lashley

WWE Crown Jewel 2022 Results & Ratings
The match was books for only 6 minutes and honestly it was a disappointing match. It was a very weak opener and it was obviously the weakest opener since Triple H took charge. 6 minutes was a very low time, it should have been book for at least 10 minutes. A lot of fans had high expectations from this match, this ending would really disappoint them.
Bobby Lashley dominated the most part of the match, and he was also the heel of the match. The Arabian fans where behind Lesnar throughout the match. As Bobby Lashley was the trying to lock the Hurt Lock, Lesnar laid down on him to pin him quickly. After the match, Lashley nailed Lesnar with the Hurt Lock.
Match 2 – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship – Damage CTRL defeated Alexa Bliss and Asuka to become new champion

This match was booked for 14 minutes and this should have been the opener of the night. It was a good and entertaining match. These women never fail to deliver. It was a really good booking with real unpredictability. It is good to see that the women’s Tag Team Championship is finally getting its Glory back.
The match was mostly dominated by the babyface side as usual. At the end of the match, when Alexa was about to hit the Twisted Bliss on Dakota Kai, Nikki Cross entered the ring and attacked Alexa which the referee failed to notice. Dakota quickly pinned Alexa to win the Championship back.
Match 3 – Steel Cage Match – Drew McIntyre defeated Karrion Kross by escaping the cage

This match was booked for 13 minutes and it was a good match. It was not anything like the best match of the night but it was enjoyable and both athletes performed really well. Drew McIntyre really needed this win to keep his Momentum going.
At a point it was more of a two on one handicap match as Scarlett kept on assisting Karrion Kross. Everytime Drew tried to escape The cage, Scarlett stopped him. At the end, when Drew attempted to escape the cage through the door, Scarlett locked it. Drew escaped the cage by climbing the top, Scarlett attempted pull Karrion Kross through the door but Drew escaped first and won the match.
Match 4 – The Judgment Day defeated The OC

This match had high expectation two of the best stables of the promotion went to toe for the first time in WWE. There were rumours that Beth Phoenix would make her return to seek revenge on Rhea Ripley but that did not happen. It was a plain and simple babyfaces vs heels match where heels earned a cheap victory.
The match was booked for over 15 minutes. No side particularly dominated the match. The match was long but it had a slow start, even though it picked up pace soon. At the end, when AJ was preparing for the Phenomenal Forearm, Rhea Ripley gave AJ a free shoulder ride and delivered an Electric Chair Drop on the Apron. The referee failed to notice it. Finn quickly pinned AJ with the Coup De Grace.
Match 5 – Braun Strowman defeated Omos

This match was booked for eight minutes, and honestly it was a weak match. And of course it was pretty predictable. There was no chance of Omos winning this match. Braun would Sun be challenging for the World title, so he would not be losing this match was pretty obvious.
The match was booked for only eight minutes and Omos totally dominated the match, as expected. He completely manhandled Braun Strowman. But it took only one Running Powerslam for Braun to pin Omos. We are not sure if Omos had a huge future lying ahead of himself.
Match 6 – WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship – The Usos defeated The Brawling Brutes

This might have been a predictable match but it was one of the best matches of the night, if not the best. From the very first minute of the match it was really fast paced and really entertaining. The fans of the arena were totally hooked to the match throughout.
It was book for around 13 minutes and there was not a single moment when the match got boring. All four performers were really on top of their games. At the end of the match, Usos hit the 1D team finisher on Butch and Jimmy Uso pinned him to retain the Championship.
Match 7 – WWE Raw Women’s Championship – Bianca Belair defeated Bayley to retain

This was arguably the best match of the night. It was booked for over 21 minutes and it was really a very engaging match. It was fast paced and was extremely entertaining. But once again it was also a very predictable match. The match might have been good but there was nothing much left in this feud.
Both athletes had their own chances. There were a lot of weapons had been used, even a golf cart. The ending of the match was little stupid. Bianca locked Bayley inside of a ladder and took the support of the turnbuckle as Bayley failed to escape. This might be the end of this feud.

Bray Wyatt entered the arena to cut a promo. And in this promo, Bray Wyatt was more of his real self, he was more Windham Rotunda than his character. The promo was similar to what he has been doing so far. There was nothing special about it. Uncle Howdy appeared in the big screen and this time his voice founded same as Bray Wyatt himself. Maybe the mystery of Uncle Howdy is finally solved.
Match 8 – WWE Undisputed Universal Championship – Roman Reigns defeated Logan Paul to retain
This was the most predictable match of the night, also it was the best match of the night. Kudos to Logan Paul for putting over such an amazing performance. This amazing performance might turn his haters into believers. But still this world championship match was pretty rushed and booked badly.

The match was booked for 25 minutes and Jake Paul, The Bloodline, everyone got involved into the match. In spite of being predictable, there were moments where the producers made us believe that there might be a huge upset. We hope to see Logan Paul performing more often then just being a part timer. Is a very good athlete and has a big future in WWE lying ahead of him.
At the end of the match, Logan Paul nailed the Usos outside of the ring. As he entered the ring, Roman Reigns quickly hit a Superman punch and pinned him after a Spear. The Bloodline celebrated together as this year’s Crown Jewel went off air.
Overall Crown Jewel 2022 was a good show, but once again, mostly predictable. There were some excellent matches but there were some weak matches as well. Bobby Lashley vs Brock Lesnar had been the worst match of the night. Omos vs Braun was not a very good match either. Both of the Tag Team Championship matches were really good.
About the other matches, the Last Woman Standing match and the Universal championship match are the two best matches of the night. We hope This Is the End of the Bianca vs Bayley feud. But honestly, Bianca has to drop the title now. Things are getting really boring. We do not want to see people calling her overrated.
The Universal Championship match was arguably the best match of Crown Jewel 2022. Logan Paul had been amazing. If he works regularly, he can be the next Big Star of WWE. But Sami Zayn not being involved in this event was of course a downfall. Saudi really deserved to see a glance of Sami. There were no returns or debutes either, which were heavily rumoured. We give this year’s Crown Jewel 2 out of 5.
