WWE Hall of Famer Edge who is also a former eleven times WWE World Champion recently praised WWE official Jessika Carr who was involved throughout the Edge vs. Seth Rollins trilogy. She played the role of the referee in their latest Hell in a Cell match which took place at the Crown Jewel pay per view event.

The feud between the two former World Champions started their feud from the Money in the Bank pay per view event just a number of months ago. The Rated R Superstar challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship in that particular pay per view event. The situation was something like this, the challenger was closing in on a victory, but Seth Rollins made an interference and cost him his title shot. It was his last title opportunity and it was gone.

WWE Crown Jewel – Edge Praised WWE Referee Jessika Carr

The duo had their first battle at SummerSlam. It was a very intense match where WWE Hall of Famer snatched the victory at the end. But it was just the beginning of their feud. After a number of weeks, the do over once again had a battle, this time it was in an episode of Friday Night Smackdown. Seth Rollins came out victorious this time. He almost ended career of the 47 year old in this match. It was all kayfabe though. It was built like he would not be coming to action very soon.

The final match between the duo was booked at the Crown Jewel pay per view event of WWE which took place at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. But the final installment of their match took place inside Hell in a Cell. Indeed it was the best match of the night. It was a very intense match where both individuals were quite amazing. Seth Rollins ultimately lost the match and lost the feud as well. Jessika Carr had been referee in all of the mentioned three matches.

“I’m in the midst of my 22hr travel back home after #crownjewel and Hell in a Cell. More on that in a future post. But I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge something that may have gone unnoticed to some. Last night @wweladyrefjess refereed our match. Many firsts in doing that.

She was in there for every part of this insane trilogy that I’m so proud of. Summerslam. Madison Square Garden. Crown Jewel. She’s knocking down barriers and I couldn’t be more proud of her.
