WWE Day 1 is happening on January 1 which is also the first-ever event on the WWE calendar. WWE is taking no chances with this inaugural show as they booked the biggest match possible from their roster in the main event. Roman Reigns will defend his WWE Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar in this rematch from WWE Crown Jewel.

Some big-time promotions also went down for the upcoming show. The company recently unveiled the official promotional poster for the inaugural WWE Day 1 pay-per-view and it was no surprise that WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns featured prominently on the poster. Now reports also claim that The Tribal Chief is favorite to retain his belt against The Beast Incarnate.

WWE Day 1: No Title Change Expected To Happen At The PPV 1

The show slated from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia is likely to witness some sort of chaos in the main event match that will allow Roman Reigns to retain his title. The successful title defense at WWE Day 1 will also allow him to become the longest-reigning Universal Champion in history. Interestingly, Reigns will topple none other than Brock Lesnar, himself who previously held the belt for 503 days.
