WWE Day 1 PPV is waiting for the professional wrestling fans to kick things off in a bigger way in 2022. The biggest match possible from the WWE roster is scheduled to be the main event of the night as Brock Lesnar challenges WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns for the title in a rematch from Crown Jewel.

Now, the opening betting odds for the WWE Day 1 pay-per-view have been revealed. It’s clearly being seen that the Universal Champion is the favorite to retain his title against The Beast, possibly to set up yet another match. Not just Reigns, but it appears that each of the champions will come out as still the champions after the inaugural show.

As of this writing, Smackdown tag team champions, and the WWE Champion have been announced to defend their titles on WWE Day 1. Each of them is seemingly a favorite to come out on top, following their battle. In the only non-title match of the PPV, WWE Hall of Famer Edge will win his match against The Miz.

In more news, Rappers Migos will also appear at the first-ever WWE Day 1 pay-per-view. WWE has announced that Quavo, Offset, and TakeOff will be there on the show, which takes place in Atlanta. Migos will be there to promote their 2021 “Straightenin” single which is also the official theme song for the pay-per-view. There is no update on whether they will be performing the song that night.

While there are no confirmations, it’s likely that the Raw Women’s Championship match between Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan will be added to WWE Day 1. Also, Charlotte Flair is likely to defend her Smackdown Women’s Title against Toni Storm at the PPV, going by their ongoing feud.
