One of the top picks of WWE Draft 2021 was Charlotte Flair who was picked by Smackdown. She will now move to the Friday Nights from the Monday Night Raw brand. News is that FOX reportedly requested the RAW Women’s Champion on their show for the first time ever.
As seen last night, the third pick of the first round during WWE Draft 2021 witnessed SmackDown selecting Charlotte Flair. It was briefly speculated that the fourth pick of the first round could thus become SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, but instead of The Man, Raw picked Bianca Belair.
WWE Crown Jewel 2021: Women’s Triple Threat Title Match Announced
In an update to the situation, Wrestling Inc. President Raj Giri informed in a report that FOX officials specifically asked for Charlotte Flair to be brought to SmackDown in the WWE Draft 2021. There’s no update available on what WWE has planned for Flair and whether they do plan to send Lynch back to Raw. In that case, they will have to swap the titles. If that doesn’t happen then they will eventually do something to get the red brand title back on RAW.

Charlotte Flair moved to Raw during WWE Draft 2021
WWE Draft 2021 Night One ended with a Wrestlemania rematch where Sasha Banks competed against Bianca Belair in the main event. Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch was on commentary. Lynch’s interference from ringside allowed Banks to get the win via a roll-up. Then Flair rushed the ring as soon as the match was over, taking out Banks and Belair with a pair of big boots. SmackDown went off the air with Lynch raising her title in the air on the commentary desk while Flair also raised her title in the air in the ring.
Becky Lynch commented on being eligible for a WWE Draft 2021 pick on RAW, writing, “The Man is not eligible to be picked until Monday. I wanted to give people more time to put money on the table.”
As all the WWE Draft 2021 picks will officially not go into effect until the October 22 edition of SmackDown, which is the night after WWE Crown Jewel, superstars can make appearances on either of the brands. In the meantime, WWE has announced that Lynch will have to defend her title against Banks and Belair in a Triple Threat at Crown Jewel.
